Update Reservation
An existing reservation is modified in HMS. This event is triggered when HMS sends anOTA_HotelResNotifRQ message with @ResStatus="Modify".
Data Synced
- Reservation details (confirmation number, check-in/check-out dates, status)
- Room type and rate plan
- Guest information (primary guest and additional guests)
- Nightly rate breakdown
- VIP status and membership
- Reservation notes and special requests
Effect in ABRA
When this event is received, ABRA:- Refreshes all reservation details (same process as a new reservation)
- Updates guest profiles for everyone on the reservation
- Updates room type and rate plan assignments
- Imports any new or changed notes for processing
- Preserves the existing reservation status (modifications do not change status)
