Update Profile

A guest profile is modified in HMS. This event is triggered when HMS sends an OTA_ProfileCreateRQ message with a profile ID that already exists in ABRA.
HMS uses the same OTA_ProfileCreateRQ message type for new, modified, and deleted profiles. ABRA determines whether the profile is new or existing based on whether the profile ID already exists in its database.

  • Guest profile ID and name
  • Contact information (email, phone)
  • Address details
  • VIP status (@VIP_Indicator) and VIP code
  • Personal details and preferences

Effect in ABRA

When this event is received, ABRA:
  • Updates the existing guest profile with current information
  • Refreshes VIP tier based on the HMS VIP code
  • Updates address and contact details
