Service Order Updated
A reservation is created or modified in MEWS.In MEWS terminology, a “Service Order” is a reservation. This single event covers both new reservations and updates to existing ones.
Data Synced
- Reservation details (confirmation number, dates, status)
- Room assignment
- Guest information (primary guest and companions)
- Reservation notes
- Pricing (total amount, taxes)
Effect in ABRA
When this event is received, ABRA:- Creates or updates the reservation record
- Creates or updates guest profiles for all guests on the reservation
- Syncs room assignment details
- Imports any reservation notes (which then enter the note processing pipeline)
- Updates reservation status (Confirmed, Checked In, Checked Out, Cancelled, etc.)
