# Update Reservation

# Update Reservation

An existing reservation is modified in Oracle Opera.

## Data Synced

* Reservation details (confirmation number, check-in/check-out dates, status)
* Room assignment and room type
* Guest information (primary guest and additional guests)
* Pricing (total amount, nightly rates, taxes)
* Number of adults and children
* How the booking was made (direct, travel agent, company)
* VIP status and loyalty membership
* Reservation notes and special requests

## Effect in ABRA

When this event is received, ABRA:

* Refreshes all reservation details (same process as a new reservation)
* Updates guest profiles for everyone on the reservation
* Updates room assignments for each night of the stay
* Imports any new or changed notes for processing
* Updates the full pricing breakdown
