# Resource Block Updated

A room block (unavailability period) is created or modified in MEWS.

  ABRA acknowledges this event but does not currently sync room blocking data.

## Data Synced

* Event is acknowledged for audit purposes
* No room blocking data is currently synced

## Effect in ABRA

When this event is received, ABRA:

* Logs the event for monitoring purposes
* Does not update room availability records

Room blocking and availability management is handled within MEWS. ABRA focuses on guest and reservation data.
