# Payment Updated

A payment is processed or updated on a reservation in MEWS.

<Note>
  ABRA acknowledges this event but does not currently sync detailed payment or folio data. Reservation totals are synced via the Service Order Updated event.
</Note>

## Data Synced

* Event is acknowledged for audit purposes
* No payment-specific data is currently synced

## Effect in ABRA

When this event is received, ABRA:

* Logs the event for monitoring purposes
* Does not update reservation or payment records

Reservation pricing (total amount, taxes) is synced when the reservation itself is updated via Service Order Updated events.
