# Reservation Created

A new reservation is created in Maestro.

<Note>
  This event is also known as "New Reservation" in some Maestro configurations. Both are handled identically.
</Note>

## Data Synced

* Reservation details (confirmation number, dates, status)
* Room assignment and room type
* Guest information (name, contact details)
* Rate and pricing information

## Effect in ABRA

When this event is received, ABRA:

* Creates a new reservation record
* Creates or updates guest profiles
* Establishes guest-reservation relationships
* Records room and rate information
